The Story

Is it nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, or to take arms against a sea of troubles, and by opposing end them?
Returning from Wittenberg the Danish Prince Hamlet is confronted with major changes in his hometown Elsinore. Initially he just came home to attend his father’s funeral. But soon he learns that his mother, the Queen, will be getting married again – to his uncle. His suspicions grow when he observes how easily his mother can turn towards another man, so shortly after her husband’s mysterious death. In the middle of a strange night Hamlet meets the Ghost of his father who tells him that he has not died a natural death but that the new King of Denmark, his brother Claudius has actually killed him. Hamlet faces a great moral dilemma. He withdraws completely from this mad society and puts himself an antique disposition on.
